Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate all aspects of industrial maintenance within our manufacturing facility. This pivotal role combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic planning to ensure optimal operation of machinery, facilities, and infrastructure. As the Maintenance Lead, you will drive maintenance management initiatives, supervise maintenance teams, and implement proactive strategies to minimize downtime and enhance safety standards. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) will be essential in maintaining high productivity levels and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team to execute daily maintenance activities efficiently and safely.

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment

• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and system schematics to diagnose issues accurately.

• Manage facilities management tasks such as HVAC systems, building infrastructure, and safety compliance to ensure a safe working environment.

• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize production disruptions.

• Oversee project management efforts for equipment upgrades, repairs, or installations ensuring timely completion within budget.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and asset management for reporting purposes.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards related to industrial maintenance practices and electrical codes.

• Train team members on new procedures or equipment to foster skill development and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising maintenance teams within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical components.

• Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, facilities management principles, and industrial maintenance best practices.

• Proficiency in reading technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools such as digital multi-meters.

• Ability to lead projects from conception through completion with effective project management skills.

• Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate across departments effectively.

• Supervising experience with a focus on safety protocols and team development is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of industrial safety standards related to electrical work and machinery operation is essential.
